The Reason Why I Hate Craigslist

I have to be honest will you all, I hate Craigslist, and I have so many reasons why, but I do not have the time to write all 100 reason why I strongly dislike this website.

I have been applying for jobs far and wide throughout my community and I have not found anything, I have never been so pissed off in my life. I was also looking for blogging jobs for the blog and I wasn’t able to find any true blogging jobs or writing positions that were actually true, oh no, they had fake jobs on the site. I have done everything possible to give this site a chance, but I believe the way this site could help me or anyone else is if I was selling an expensive item or sexual favors. I was so frustrated that I went to Yahoo Answers to ask, “Why do people hate Craigslist?” And you will be surprised with some of the answers I received.

Here’s the link to the question and answers : Yahoo Answers

Do you hate or love Craigslist, if so tell me why?

Five Top Reasons Why Your Blog Sucks

I am a new blogger but  I am not new to blogging, I have seen some of the most mind numbing blogs in my life, so I painstakingly went back to some of those crappy blog posts to give you five reasons of a bad blog.

Here’s the top five:

1. Slang or Lingo

  • Unless you are a Hip-Hop Blogger for WorldStarHipHop.com or Bossip.com, you should not be using any type of Ebonics or new cool terms for your blogs.

2. Using Text Message Language

  • Do not use text words in blog posts
  • For example, “Be Right Back (B.R.B) ,  Laugh out Loud (L.O.L) , or Laugh My Ass Off (L.M.A.O)

3. Selfishness

  • A blog is about your experience but you must find a way to communicate with your audience for commonality.

4.  Bad Tags or Lack thereof

  • If you have a good post use as many tags as possible and make sure they match with your post

5. Bad Choice in Naming your Post

  • You have a well written post and no one has liked it in three days, you may have a bad topic post.

What the Hell is Blogging?

The True Definition of Blogging, well my definition

Blogging is a showcase of hobbies, careers, and life experiences for viewing audiences of the Internet. I made up this definition for blogging because of countless hours on my blog and interacting with fellow bloggers. Guess what? You can make money from blogging , people  that say you cannot make money from blogging, I believe have had some bad experiences  and just wanted to blog for money and nothing else. There’s more to blogging than just making money, use  your blog to help others and a learning experience.

What should I blog?

Blog something that you love whether its a blog about ants or global warming you are not the only person in this world that loves to talk about ants or global warming.

How should I start my blog?

Before you start a blog you will need a pen and paper to ask yourself six important questions for your blog: Who will be your target audience? What are you  blogging about ? When will you post (everyday or once a day) ? Where are you going ? How are you going to attract your  audience? Why are blogging?

How can I get paid with blogging?

Of course you can write blogs for other bloggers ad you can go to sites such as Problogger, Indeed, About.com,  Craigslist (at your own risk), and your can start an account with oDesk and Elance. Google Adsense is another place, but I am not too sure if you want those ugly ads your your blog. Affiliate programs like Commission Junction which is  pretty much internet marketing for a business. Sponsorship or private ad sales or running campaigns.

I am a big fan of Problogger.net so if you are interested in reading more information about earning money by blogging then go to the site.
